Low profile plate mounting block at a low center of gravity with rotating mechanism.

A perfect package with the quick release angle plate and quick release panorama clamp which is compatible with the low profile attachment plate standard. Quick release function to pinch an attaching plate from aside offers simple attachment with single screw in spite of strong fixing power. The rotating mechanism on the block with clamp designed to apply a moderate torque ensures a great operability in setting composition and panorama shooting. Using in combination with the low profile quick release angle plate, (D)SLR camera can be mounted both vertically or horizontally without spoiling a center of gravity.

Low center of gravity

Low center of gravity design allows an adjustment of weight balance even with a small counterweight when the dovetail slide bar DD is used, so that the portability of the POLARIE star tracker is maintained.

Applicable to the camera mount

In addition to the dovetail slide bar DD and dovetail slide bar PG, the camera mount with screws (1/4 inch, 3/8 inch) can be used as a quick release version.

Lateral position plate

It is also possible to use one lateral position plate of the quick release angle plate alone. Astronomical telescope with 1/4 inch camera screw can also be installed.

Vertical position plate

There is a hole to avoid interference by wiring such as a shutter release.

Mountable cameras

The distance (a or b) from the side of the camera to the camera screw (1/4 inch) is within 10 to 90 mm.
