When straight pull shotguns first hit the Australian market, Impala was already on the drawing board. While other manufacturers were working towards making the cheapest straight pulls, Impala went to work to making the best Straight pulls.

Unique to Impala is the design which is based on a semi auto Inertia system. No other makers to date offer this design. The Impala allows for a simpler assembly and take down, the rear spring design also helps to reduce recoil.

Unlike most other shotguns the mechanism is directly attached to the barrel housing with 6 locks. It provides convenience with a more secure and robust locking and a 15 degree rotation angle. It provides maximum safety for the user and also offers great convenience to separate the mechanism from the body. Impala also come with 5 INVECTOR chokes as standard along with TRUGLO sights. There has been no compromise to cut costs.

Impala also uses a unique pull handle design. While others use either a straight rod or right angle handle, Impala designed their handle in such a way that when you release the pull handle your finger drops automatically back at the trigger. This allows for quick firing and greater accuracy.

Impala also offer several different models finished in Cerakote like the AUS120PG24 O.D. Green with a 24inch barrel which is unique to Impala.

All Impalas are drilled and tapped which will allow red dot scopes to be attached. Because all Impalas are made using sophisticated CNC machinery barrels can be switched between them requiring no gun smithing.
